What would you think of a World Government like Wendell Willkie proposed after WW2 as part of his One World strategy? It's a puzzling decision to make in today's world with theocracies denouncing all other religious orders as evil and misguided and dictators where there is no freedom and no resort to legal redress for their problems. What nation would give up its authority without safeguards? Who can one trust?
