This professionally printed (and poorly posted) sign was in the Bronx. Apart from the fact that it's a notice (it says as much) and that it apologizes for the inconvenience, it doesn’t say much else. The “why” of this sign is on the other side, securely hidden from view. This is the MTA at its most efficient.
