Not much... because there are far too many ways in which we are not free.

The corrupt revolving door between the government and corporations, banks, and special interests. I do not feel there is any true representation, and I feel like both parties seek to control us in ever-more invasive and self-interested ways.

Our new site is based on the notion that here in the United States, you can express yourself however you want. Hey, It's a Free Country, right? But we also know that political discourse has reached a point where people are talking past, not to, each other. We've been asking our guest bloggers "What does the phrase mean to you?" and "What's broken in politics, and how do we fix it?" Now we want to hear from you! Take the Free Country survey below. I believe we should get out of this wretched 2-party system. I wish people of both parties would abandon the harmful "lesser of two evils" mentality and vote for the candidates who actually vow to fix the bipartisan corruption going on, and realize that it's an equal problem on both sides of the table.
