3 hours
TGIF, let down your hair, sip a complimentary drink and mingle with New York City's hippest crowds as WNYC takes to the street—the street level, glass facade of The Greene Space that is.
For this party, we bring you DBR & THE MISSION, a string-driven ensemble that seamlessly blends funk, rock, hop-hop and classical music into a new, personal sonic vision, and serve as classical-urban ambassadors for a widening global audience. Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR) unites his classical music roots with a multicolored spectrum of contemporary black popular music. They will perform a range of work including pieces written by DBR.
Grammy Award–winning vocalist Maya Azucena and WNYC's Terrance McKnight team up to host and share the mic with you, our New York City public. For 85 years WNYC has come into your home and you've heard us, now come into our home—The Greene Space—and let us hear you. It's Open Mic Night at The Greene Space.
$30 special VIP seating/$20 general standing room/$15 student rush
Student rush tickets will be available at the box office two hours prior to the event. No one under 21 will be served alcohol.
